  Sword arrived fast. Very pls with the shipping and the sword seems to be good. While I am not sure if they did extra sharpening as I request since it was having issue cutting through a piece a paper. I’m pretty happy with this.

  There was some slight moisture at the hilt of the blade close to the guard but nothing that could not be cleaned and restored. The blade is quite heavy and is practical with two hands but can be wielded with one hand, given the sword wielder has slightly more than average strength. Blade is also sharp from the tip to hilt of sword. Moderate strength is needed to separate sword from scabbard as it can become sucked into the scabbard. No tassel. Be extra careful wielding this double edge sword.

  好剑！Quality is great and the brass fittings as well as the fitting of the sword to the scabbard are excellent. No loos parts or rattling when swung. Nice heft and very balanced jian. Ebony is nice quality too. With proper maintenance such as oiling the blade once in a while, the sword can last a lifetime. Would highly reccommend and purchase from this seller. Thanks so much!
