Welcome to Alley Cat Books! We are based in Choctaw, OK. We have a wide variety of books on our shelves, and, the occasional record (vinyl). Please check back frequently as we are constantly adding stock to the inventory.
Oklahoma has hit the "dog days of Summer." Simply put, it's HOT. But every season is perfect for books! Good literature never dies, and never ages. A North Star we can always rely upon.
Outdoor reading can still be enjoyable, particularly before noon, with the ceiling fan twirling overhead. You will also be serenaded by an orchestra of locusts! Remember what President Truman said, (AC is paraphrasing), "If you can't stand the heat, grab your book and go inside to read!"
COVID has really changed the world, but, it could not touch good books and good literature! And, of course, the majestic Great Plains view from the back patio, where our customers may read facing the West pasture; as hawks make lazy circles in the sky.
