  The item came in an open box, but everything inside the box was sealed in the original packaging. The item arrived in new condition. The item arrived three days after the latest delivery estimate. The item worked out of the box with three separate 8 pin PCIE cables. The 12VHPWR adapter that is included seems to require three 8 pin cables to work correctly, even though the item should be able to function with two high quality 8 pin PCIE cables. It may be best to get a dedicated 12VHPWR cable.

  I would not make ice as stated in the description. I couldn't get it to work; what a waste of my money. The item was not as described, made a loud sound, but would not produce ice. Very dirty and had not been taken care of at all.
