Über uns

I am a classically trained artist with a background in editorial illustration and teaching. I was awarded my doctorate in the philosophy of fine art for developing a method of contemporary oil painting merging the fundamental elements of the historical sight-size tradition that I studied in Florence, and a photorealist technique in which I engaged as a painter for Damien Hirst.

My research follows a dualistic trajectory focused on combining effective processes to achieve sincerity in the rendering of human skin in parallel to exploring the conceptual boundaries attributed to the sensitivities that are intrinsically involved in erotic representation. I am establishing a unique niche depicting highly explicit subject matter which is beginning to attract a growing audience.

I operate as a sole trader selling my paintings, drawings, and master copies of prominent artworks to collectors worldwide and I source beautiful and useful things to sell to fund my passion to paint.

    Another example of Anastasia doing what she does best - creating a kind of beauty in her representation of the male nude. This is not an abstract image but the real thing and the attention to detail is amazing. The A3 size gives the picture a kind of grandeur that is impossible to ignore. Yes, it is erotic but that is only part of its appeal. This is an image which, it seems to me, has been created with some degree of affection. I cannot praise the artist or the art enough.
