  The neck is well made with a scarf joint.The seller/Luthier stained the fretboard although it's advertised as rosewood.It doesn't look like rosewood and it was a disappointment that it was stained.I hope the guitar I'm putting together ends up sounding and playing good.Otherwise, next time I'll just build it myself and be satisfied with that.
