  This hat was used but I thought it would have been cleaned up before selling. The sweat band was still dirty with sweat and the hat did not have any firmness. It was bought for my husband, but he won't wear it.

  I don't make any alterations to my items after I list them. I am sorry if you were under the impression that this would be in better condition than what it shows in the photos. The third photo clearly shows discoloration on the inside band. If I were going to try to clean it up, don't you think I would before listing it? It was a $10 hat with free shipping. After eBay fees, promotional listing fees, shipping and packing material...I don't make any more than a dollar or two.
