I have been a book worm since my mum bought me my first chapter book. I will never forget lying on my bed for hours during the school holidays devouring The Magic Faraway Tree, astounded that the pictures in my imagination came together to form stories and lives and places that were so far from my own suburban reality. Through high school and a troubling upbringing reading and words bought me knowledge and inspiration and ways to express myself.

As a fully fledged adult with a long career, three grown children and a bunch of health challenges, I figured fulfilling a life long dream was on the cards, the dream of owning a book shop. While it is not bricks and mortar, selling here online is an amazing way to see my lovely finds wend their way around the country and the world.

I have some eclectic treasures, popular tomes and historic records. And if I don't have it, shoot me a message and I will see what I can find for you.

    Excellent condition with lots of information on those early squatting days of old. Could have been a little more on John Cowie and David Stead being the first squatters depasture sheep from Corio Bay to Bell Post Hill, Cowie's Creek afar 1836. Lots of information Australian Felix leases were issued to all licensed occupants of station runs, who actually had been in occupation for period of twelve months or more. Lots of disappointment at times while the sheep were not of good quality at first.
