  Upon inspection, the ribbon cable connecting screen to the circuit board is was torn, and cannot be repaired. Probably why it doesn't function. Could have only been torn by previous botched repair job, as several screws were not the original. Circuit board untested at the writing of this review. Seller should inspect items before selling, as they advertised console with brighter screen (which cannot be confirmed from current damage). Postage was fast though.
