The description was therefore misleading, as most buyers would reasonably expect “water-resistant” gear to handle at least light rain. Communication from the seller was also quite dismissive. Being breathable means that it can get water in if forced. The buyer wore them in heavy rain after misinterpreting the description. We have sold 1000's of these pairs and only one person has it's own understanding of water-resistant.
