This is the best value for money of any R2 D2 I have seen. This IS the droid you are looking for. The packaging is the best &, I would say, it would be difficult to pass a cats whisker between the polystyrene the box wall & the product, totally secure. Sellers communication kept me informed of every detail, from manufacturing through to shipping & customs.

We have tried to reach out several times since the day of purchase to explain that you bought only the upgrade electronics, not a full R2-D2 statue. And that it requires a base unit to apply the upgrades. We also shared links to the correct base units if you intended to proceed. We asked that if you simply wanted us to send only the upgrade, you needed to clearly confirm it. Because if that wasn’t your goal, you might not have the skill to install the kit by yourself.

It looks very realistic and is very well made with good attention to detail. The legs need some work to secure though. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it for any true Star Wars enthusiast.
