  Excellent product, what you expect from Trangia. Mine is for an 'SAS Survival' type survival kit. Fits perfectly in a Miltec Canteen Pouch. Black plastic wrap on the handle IS heat and fireproof (tested). Large Trangia Mess Tin is a far lighter substitute for army disposal mess tins. Easily holds a comprehensive long term survival kit.

  These items bought to replace all of our older camelbak water bottles where the silicon mouthpiece on the lids all eventually perish and fail. Had excellent value out of the old units, replacement lids aren't cost effective so better to replace the whole units. Had excellent service life from the last units, hope these last the same and quality hasn't been lowered.
