Hi! My name is Sean Jungo and I am the owner of Connecting Trails Minerals. I have been collecting minerals for over 35 years (There are photos of 5 year old me digging in the Utah sand!) and am passionate about the hobby. The mineral collecting community has some of the most fascinating people I have met--you are scientists, teachers, miners, authors, photographers, psychics, engineers, musicians, entrepreneurs and most importantly friends. Mineral collecting is so much more than the acquisition of specimens. It is, in the words of a 90 year old vendor at the Franklin Mineral Show; "one of the great joys of my life." It is the story of collecting trips, early morning sunrises, discovery, friends and fellowship and awe at the beauty of nature's gifts. I specialize in minerals with a story--historical collections, rare and unique localities, aesthetically unique specimens as well as a wide assortment of affordable minerals for those building their collections.
