  Bike much as described. However, after assembling it, I was unable to get the Simano Ultegra D2 gears working at all despite attempting to charge the battery for several hours. I eventually took it to my local bike shop who were eventually able to get the battery to respond and charge. It now also appears that there is a safety recall on the crankset and this is currently being checked out by the bike shop.
