  The item arrived undamaged but it wasn’t disclosed that the box, packing material, and lamp/lamp shade would be tainted with overwhelming cigarette smoke. My entire garage smelled once I opened the box. Hopefully it can be cleaned to use in one of my shops

  Weird to me, since we don't smoke at all here......perhaps unknown to us, the boxes we used or the packing material was somehow contaminated with smoke somehow...i believe the lamp itself was not from a smoking environment....since the lamp itself came to you in 2 different boxes, did you notice if both boxes had this smell?
