It was shipped in a static shielding bag, but besides for that, the motherboard had no packing materials inside the box, which was an extremely thin cardboard box. The motherboard had a few header pins on the side bent on arrival and a strange gummy substance on the bottom of it.

Package came extremely quick (quickest one ever on eBay) and packaged nicely. Some scuffs on the cpu, but I am pretty sure those are due to assembly and manufacturing rather than prior use, and the product is indeed new.
