  As someone who owns a cartridge cracking device previously, which I bought in the early 2000's, this was rather disappointing. It works but doesn't feel nearly as robust as the all brass one I have. It's aluminum and the lip to hold the balloon on is too small. I can easily see the balloon, as it fills, blowing off and losing the gas in the process. It will work in a pinch but I wouldnt rely on it in the long term. But for the price it does the job.
