  The device is not portable. It looks as if it is and I expected it to be. But when I searched through the company's catalogue, it turns out there is an otherwise very similar device that's portable but this one needs to be connected to the mains at all times. Also, not very powerful radiation. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's bad, but it was a disappointment and I think very poor value for what is, after all, not a cheap device. I am going to ask if I can return it
