  We installed the light assembly only to find out that the brake light wasn’t working. Our previous assembly was working fine so we took the new assembly off again checking that the connection was right. After checking the wiring my husband found that the brake light Earth wire wasn’t connected to the loom. He has now earthed the brake to the loom so when we recover,we will try the assembly again, hopefully with a successful outcome. So far we have worked on this for two days. Stay tuned.
