Not the easiest to remove from lens the catch is a bit fiddly but fits snugly with no flex and mounts tightly on camera so machined tolerances seem good, I have a few lenses with no electronics so this represents good value for money at £20 at this price you could have a few and leave it on one lens most of the time so removal will hardly be an issue.
