In fact I never usually leave bad feedback but this boss was so unpleasant and unhelpful when it came to returning items that I might as well give my two cents.

The item you receive on the other hand is dry and so in fact the item you receive often does look different than the wet item pictured. Especially for "rainbow obsidian", where they may look colorful and interesting in bright light, but in normal light and DRY they do look dull indeed. However in the interest of appeasing this moody boss I tried to chose a different reason with next return but then

To save money on return shipping I put them all in one package (and I let her know this in advance) assuming they would all get refunded when the seller received the return. So far the only one that's been refunded is the one that Ebay auto-refunded for the item I put in to return. Should I have sent back each stone with its own return label to ensure I get refunded on all returned items? Still waiting for my refund on these items.
