  This item looked good online and I loved the color but it’s definitely not an XXL. It also has a very short waist. I was able to utilize it for a gift for someone that it fit better but I was disappointed overall. The person I gave it to wears large size and though it fit in most ways for them the waist was short on them too. Anyway, I was able to use it as a gift of sorts but was let down.

  You could have asked for a refund. Its free and easy. No one should have to keep something that they don't want. Every listing has measurements to ensure it fits right. I encourage you to check a seller's listing in the future.
