Thrifting has become my new passion. I absolutely LOVE searching for items that will bring a smile to someone's face...or remind them of a better time in their life...or just make them happy. In the process of seeking, I learn things about myself and the world around me. I've learned that I really love looking for vintage items...especially glassware. The items I find remind me of my momma and granny. And when I choose clothing to sell, I'd rather find a garment that I would like to wear than just buy something because it's a well-known name brand.

I chose a dragonfly for my shop because dragonflies are adaptable to their surroundings. I have had to adapt into the new world of retirement. It would be easy to just sit around and do nothing all day. But what's the fun in that?? I want a new challenge...and flipping items has become my new challenge.
