  The 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser didn't sell sell very well. In my eyes it was beautiful, but the public saw it was gaudy, unreliable and expensive. In my whole life, and I'm 80 years old, I've only seen one. It was not quite as gaudy as the Lincoln Premiere. I see more Edsels than this model in the car shows. But, in my eyes, it was and still is beautiful! This is the only way I can afford one! The details are amazing!
