  worked as advertised, however there is a short in the ipod connection wire that causes a buzz (likely a minor ground fault) when the engine is running if not secured in just the right position. I'm not planning to use that function much, so securing it & tucking it away isn't a huge deal, and not worth the hassle of returning, replacing and reinstalling the unit. not totally dissatisfied, as it seems like a quality build otherwise...I just lucked out on the one I got! 🫤
