  My purchase (a receiver) arrived damaged. I contacted the seller, told him my purchase had arrived damaged, and indicated that I would be requesting a return. The seller strongly discouraged me from requesting a return, asking me to wait for the shipper to process the claim he intended to file and to handle the return outside eBay's return process. Later, the seller tried to coerce me out of requesting a return by telling me that he lacked the funds to refund my payment. Highly disappointing.

  Utterly bizarre. This man lives in a fantasy world. I did not try to coerce anything. The cost of return shipping would have been deducted from the refund. I told him it was not necessary to ship it back and would needlessly cost him money. I processed the claim with FedEx and sent a full refund of nearly $1000 within a week, all without requiring the return of the item. And he left negative feedback. You're welcome...?
