Located in Hudsonville, Michigan, Grand Rapids Hide Company has been a trusted name in the hide industry since the late 1800s. Rooted in a rich history of fur, hides, and tallow, we have evolved while staying true to our time-honored traditions.

Today, we specialize in curing premium bovine hides year-round, with a seasonal focus on deer hides. We salt, stack, and ship our hides globally—serving markets as far as Italy and China—where they are transformed into fine leather goods.

In addition to our hide processing, Grand Rapids Hide proudly offers a selection of high-quality leather gloves, mittens and belts. Our deerskin leather gloves are crafted from the finest whitetail deerskin, sourced from the heart of the Midwest—some even from Michigan itself—and combine luxury, durability, and practicality. Our gloves are built to last, making these gloves a reliable companion for years to come.

    The gloves are VERY nice. Size is as described. The material is very nice. I do not think they really need any break in but I will be wearing them to get them set to my hands before I actually need them. The condition was as described- brand new, unused. I believe they are a good value for the materials and the price. I recommend these for general gloves.
