  I really struggled with this, rather to send these back or not, granted these are a RARE find! And the seller has nothing to do with this, who is, by the way, great! But I previously owned the sister and predecessor to this model by 5 months, the SONY MDREX319LP (Look it up.) That had the exact same speakers and specs, but was SO well balanced, clear mids and highs w same low-end deep punchy bass, had more presence and clarity on the highs and mids. These are a "V" curve but still has the bass.
