Welcome to Grouchy Unicorn!

At Grouchy Unicorn, we're more than just a business—we're a fun-loving, friendly family of six with a passion for books! With four kids ranging in age from 30 to 9 years old, there’s always a new book to discover, and we’ve quickly learned that there’s no such thing as "too many books."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we discovered the power of Amazon as a platform to buy and sell books. With generous donations from friends and family, we launched our Amazon store, Grouchy Unicorn, in July 2023. We didn’t stop there—by June 2024, we expanded our offerings to include DVDs, VHS tapes, comic books, and many more items, steadily growing our inventory.

Fast forward to 2025, and we’re proud to say that we now have over 5,000 items in stock, with more than 2,500 sales and a garage brimming with books waiting to be shared with the world.

Listen to the Wilmington Chester Mass Choir sing this ... if you do listen online - select the picture of their vinyl record that has a "V" with the choir members clustered together. I worked for Amtrak and - on the job - in this case close to 1991, often, I was seated next to the bass player for the choir. The sheet music is for me to play on the piano. Thank you very much.
