  It has been one week, and the dehumidifier has been able to get the humidity down to 40% (the lowest setting), and maintain it there. My unfinished basement size is about 1500 ft area. Noise level is moderate, which is fine for my basement, but I would not want it that loud in a living space. Condition of the refurbished product is excellent, came packed well in it's original box, with a paper manual. Product looks like new. Great value for the money.
