  I had to reinsert the connector a few times but the LCD and touch screen do work as well as the original did before it broke. The first few times I inserted the connector it didn't work or only the back light. After removing it and carefully seating it eventually worked like it should The only other problem was the old screen was glued in making it very difficult but not impossible to remove. Videos for repair are scarce and none are in English but the resources are available if patient
