  The phone cover does its job, the only negative is that the camera protector on the back enters into the field of view of the back wide angle camera and creates a vignette effect around the edges. Seller was great, shipped quickly, even sent me an extra one for free. Great all round service there.. I think I can try to fix the issue. (good news is that I have a spare in case it doesn't go well). In any case this is the only case I was able to find for this kind of phone so I am grateful.
