  Took a few tries to get going, but the game works fine! FYI for folks buying old games — this behavior is completely normal! The PCB on these Game Boy carts are very thin (and have been well-loved), so after 30+ years the solder connecting the chips and the substrate can get fatigued as it flexes in and out of the console. Simple to fix with a reflow, though! Quite happy with my purchase, thank you!
