While I was born and raised in California, I have been a Boston sports fanatic since I was a little kid. My initial heroes were Jim Rice and Larry Bird who I followed passionately. My heart was broken and crushed with my beloved Red Sox losing to the Mets in 1986, only to have it rebuilt and eternally glowing with the 2004 Red Sox World Series win. One of the greatest moments of my life! With Tom Brady title town was officially born with Paul Pierce, David Ortiz, and Patrice Bergeron leading the way. I have been collecting sports cards since I was in elementary school. Like so many others I left the hobby for awhile only to return as a result of my life long passion of sports. Watching prospects and rookies become stars is exhilarating. My favorite part of the hobby is the photography of sports cards. As a photography teacher and photographer, I love seeing the images captured, and every year I look forward to Topps Stadium Club that beautifully tells the story of baseball.
