Just to clarify, realgar (As₄S₄) isn’t soluble in water, although very small crystals can sometimes release a slight yellow tint when washed due to tiny particles detaching, not because the mineral dissolves. I also apologize. I wasn’t aware some larger crystals had been glued; they likely detached over time, as I originally bought this piece at a mineral expo. If you’re willing to update your feedback, I’d be happy to offer a partial refund as a goodwill gesture.
