Hi, I’m Melissa, and I’m the co-founder of Active Life Company, along with my husband, Lonnie, and we make Kovr Military-Grade Sunscreen. We got the idea for the company after our puppy identified skin cancer on the top of Lonnie’s head. As conservationists, we live outdoor lifestyles, so skin protection is very important to us. Kovr is a mineral formula sunscreen, vs. chemical, so it’s reef-safe, biodegradable, water resistant, and odor free, and it fits easily into a backpack. Unlike other sunscreens, Kovr is designed for active people that move. As a veteran owned company, American-made products are a priority. Kovr is an SPF 30, so it blocks 97% of harmful UV rays, while moisturizing your skin and allowing it to breath.
