Please note the following when sending mail to the United States due to changes in U.S. tariffs and regulations: At the end of last month (July 30th), the U.S. government announced a Presidential Proclamation regarding mail to the United States entitled "Suspension of De Minimis Treatment for All Countries."
Under this Proclamation, duty-free treatment will be suspended and customs duties will be imposed on mail containing goods imported for consumption starting August 29th of this year. However, the specific procedures for declaring these taxable mail items to U.S. Customs and paying customs duties remain unclear as of today.
For this reason, when ordering mail to the United States, please be aware that there may be delays in delivery.
