It cleaned up fairly easy with some orange oil. It didn't have a spinner mechanism (1 of the other 2 i bought didn't either, & the 3rd 1 had a cheap 1 that would spin if forced). ebay refunded me 4 the totally wrong 1 (top was wrong, & bottom has nice tinkling chime, like this 1 & butterfly 1 has) & i went to local stores' fishing section & bought these to convert all 3.

There was a spinner circle up top, but no spinner mechanism. So, technically NOT a spinner. Two of the 3 i purchased didn't have a spinner mechanism, & 1 had a really cheap one, which spun when forced. Ebay issued full refund, & I used it in local stores' fishing section, & purchased a package of ball bearing swivels with interlock snaps to convert all 3. Now all three spin effortlessly!
