Wanlaya's nickname in Thailand is "Bee" as in "little busy bee." When Bee moved to the USA there were a number of things from home that she missed. To get fresh Asian herbs and vegetables, she had to grow them in her garden. It wasn't as easy as growing things on the farm in Thailand where she was raised. After learning how to import seeds (legally) and get them to grow in a different climate, she started selling them. Her list of friends and friends-of-friends grew into a business.
