I've been collecting since I was 5. My first memories of getting into the hobby are getting complete sets of Topps baseball every year from my grandfather. I also spent a lot of time at the mini mart buying packs of 1985/1986 Topps football.
My first chase was pulling an Elite Series out of 1993 Donruss, ripping packs all day, every day, until I finally hit a Eddie Murray. These things were numbered to ONLY 10,000! Crazy how the times have changed.
I've PC'd Andres Galarraga since 1993. The guy is an absolute legend & inspiration to me with his battle(s) with cancer. Last year, I finally got his white whale, a 1993 Finest Refractor!
I have also been selling/trading since I was a kid too, to the point of setting up at yard sales. My best trade back then, my 1993 SP RC Mirer for a 1993 SP RC Bledsoe (nailed it!).
