  It was very easy to replace the start/stop button on my 2018 Ford Mustang GT. Do not follow Ford's video instructions telling you to take apart the entire Console of the Mustang. You can use small modeling tweezers to remove in plastic pieces retained around the button, and then simply lineup the button, push and it should snap right into place. It fits and works wonderfully.
