The package came wrapped and bubble wrap, approximately three layers. There were 21 plastic ties that were broken into pieces. This involved three of the curved track. For these to be functional, I will have to buy new plastic ties to replace them in order to assure smooth travel down the railroad track with the trains. It would be better had the track been placed in a box to protect them and bubble wrapped on the inside.
