  They are a gift for a friend so…. I have not unpacked them. I can say they were packaged very well. No rolling around or loose pieces to damage one another. The shipping was fast as well.

  A good quality helmet for the price. Not exactly as pictured. The eye slits were slightly different in design than what was shown. The mail aventail was not attached to the leather, however the vervelles were real and not simply decorative. Well worth the price.

  I was pleased with price I negotiated with seller for this Crusader Helmet. It arrived timely and in good condition. Quality construction is evident; however, I was disappointed the surface of the metal was bright and not antiqued as I expected. It is shown in an antique appearance in the item picture. Not sure I'll have any luck but I plan to contact the seller about the finish and ask what surface treatment they recommend that will result in the desired/expected antique look.
