The clock was placed in a box with peanuts with no other means of protection. Surprisingly, the glass door didn't shatter, and the only thing that was wrapped for protection was the pendulum and key. A screw fell out of the shipping box, but I was unable to find where it went on the clock. My advice would be to take the time and care to wrap these clocks properly for transit.
