  This item replaces a decades-old earlier version that I bought new "back in the day" (with now-dirty pads, and all replacement pads used). Item works as advertised - I would advise there are some decks where this item does not work as well as cleaning manually (with Q-tips). (I have a collection of hi-end decks). But for most decks it will do a quick, effective, job. Rapid shipping, and item was new-in-package as advertised!
