We are members of LAPADA, a confederation of leading antique dealers and adhere to their strict codes of practice.

The driver had dirty hands, from opening the tailgate of the van, and inadvertently left greasy finger marks on the item. The courier we used discourages any wrapping or packing before they collect, as they need to photograph the item and check for damage before collection. The item should have then been blanket wrapped on their van to protect it during transit. The courier should, however, have ensured it was handled with clean hands or gloves when moving it.
