Über uns

I live here in Rock Hill, South Carolina with my lovely wife and brand new baby girl. I’m more of a North Carolina guy at heart, having grown up in Chapel Hill, but homes were a bit cheaper when we were looking so Rock Hill it is.

I also lived in Los Angeles for 15 years, where I officially became Old, but that’s another tale.

Old Al’s Books is the first phase of my bookstore, which is raising funds to open a brick and mortar location named after my daughter: The Library of Alexandria. I’d like her to grow up in a bookstore. She can do whatever she wants after, but her childhood fate is books.

    This seller did a phenomenal job of packaging the book in the box. Never purchased a book before that had been so meticulously wrapped and protected in shipment. The book was as pristine as described - although not new - yet it was as good as new to me. Very happy with the speed of order processing and delivery. Reasonable shipping fee, excellent seller.
