  The Milanese firm of Johnson produced several refined and distinctive medals for the opening of the Simplon Tunnel. This is their most "average" design, but still very nicely detailed. It's no surprise that this wonderful seller had a specimen in beautiful condition with an intact patina for a very competitive price. The combined shipping made it a real bargain. Quick delivery.

  A fascinating brass token, worn but legible, one face shows Zeus and Ganymede in a design based on a Michelangelo drawing, Minerva on the other face, perhaps an Early Modern academic token. Excellent price, graciously reduced and a very good purchase with combined shipping. Arrived very fast, in a sturdy package. One of my favorite medal vendors!
