  ("Thanks") Wonderful photos of the two "new" Mies apartment buildings in Chicago now know as Commonwealth Plaza. ("I live here now") Photos may have been taken in the late 1950's? One photo shows the Mies building at the edge of Lincoln Park to the south. (Downtown Chicago is a mile beyond to the south.) The "Elks Memorial Building" (with dome & pillars) stands diagonally across the intersection from the Mies buildings.

  Arrived safely and fast, thank you! My grandpa was in Al Malaikah his whole life in Pasadena and volunteered as a physician at the Shriiner's hospital for crippled children in LA. This is a special postcard for me. 5 5tars!
