  They hold my little pocket .380 pistol all the way up to my .45 full size semi automatic pistol with no problem. All I used was some heavy duty 2 sided adhesive that I bought. The adhesive that came with it was probably fine but I thought I’d use the industrial grade stuff since I was using it to hold a heavy gun. You could always use the included screws instead though.
