The chrome is bright and shiny. It really looks great with my chrome wheels and trim. The only complaint I have, which is minor, is that there's no assembly guide. Because of that I ended up spending the first 30 minutes of my installation trying to figure out the which mounting bracket was the right vs the left side and how to layer the sissy bar and back rack. Overall - great buy.
